Fall Festivals...

"Front Door Primitives", a local shop sponsored a festival today of artisan vendors who gathered at the park to show their wares.  They had many items that put me in the mood to look for things for grandchildren and the change of seasons.

Friend, Debby (cute blond) went with me and we saw some talented people!

We found a popcorn stand that was making "sweet-salty" popcorn right there which smelled heavenly!!

There were lots of Halloween and Thanksgiving themed items as well as rugs and stained glass.

Then on the ride home I noticed the last Farmer's Market for the summer which surely signals the change of seasons.  Here the Amish are selling their wares.

Here are a couple of things I found....hats for Bailey and Emma and mittens!!  They will be perfect for the long hike to work in the cold mornings.  I can tell that I'll need them from the weather this morning...it's a changin"!

I'm so bummed I couldn't go with you today. I had no idea we were getting company until Fri. afternoon! But we had fun with Amy and Eric newly weds. We took them where they wanted to go and had a pleasant day. They headed home around 2:30. Those hats are adorable! I'm sorry I missed those too! I'm glad Debbie could go with you.(I'm still bummed though!) I fell asleep at 4:30pm and woke up at midnight! Now I'm wide awake at 240am! Good time to catch up on blogging!
