Spring Cleaning...

I love Spring!!! It gets me out of the winter doldrums and motivates me to clean. Kinda like a bird nesting...I've been getting out the spring and summer stuff...and smiling!! Here is a basket wreath (inspired from our trip, Debby...) that I made for the door....Got out the summer tablecloth and sea shells....

and little summer people...see the green coming outside?

We started the clean-out process of the playhouse and building the kitchen set for Bailey & Cooper.... but all little people, -in town and out- are welcomed!...(Emily & Cate & Katie & Taylor & Sophie & Alexis & Addy & Cameron & Abigail ..........)

I cleaned the deck, -upstairs and down...

and covered the old faded footstool...pretty proud of myself...I love Spring!!!!

Lori's gift...

Knowing that pictures of Bailey are Lori's favorite thing....Mike gave her a photographic session for her birthday. These are some of my favorite pictures from that day. They say that Bailey is much more cooperative with having her picture taken these days, smiles and everything! (Doesn't this look like a curtsy??)

I love this casual one and one following that they had taken of her in her mothers shoes!

She is getting a really nice head of hair too and some curls!!

Easter weekend...

We feel blessed to have seen the whole family this week. Chelsea was with us in church Easter morning and we all worshiped and took communion together. It was a great Easter weekend that started out with a trip to one of our favorite Medina restaurants...Wasabi! It's a Japanese hibachi style place that we enjoy as much for the entertainment as for the food. We weren't sure how Bailey would like it all, but as you can see...she's a trooper sitting on Aunt Chelsea's lap. When they start cooking, they "flip" small bits of food to you and if you catch it, they reward you with Saki....Lori is telling them to aim well! She caught it first shot...

Bailey is happily entertained...

and Grandpa is as well!

She liked watching the Koi fish swim...below she gets the cherry from her kiddie drink and Chelsea and I on Easter at the Ac'cent Room.

Sunday afternoon the sun was shining and Larry really wanted to clean out the garage and take things down to the Pontoon boat before he went to do some paper work at the office. We decided to take it out for a short spin...just to make sure everything was still working.
See the happy man....

It was so pretty out, you can see Spring popping up all over. We found a sunny spot that was protected from the wind....

and lost the rest of the afternoon!!!!

Videos dark but funny of Bailey learning to use chop sticks...

Cooper's visit

Tim & Cooper came for a visit last night....that child gets "into" his food!! (The dogs loved it!) He is a child that loves the outdoors...I think camping will be his thing! He really enjoys reading books before bed....he read with his dad....

and his grandfather...

and me!!!

He loves more than reading,...chocolate milk!!!

It makes him sleepy and ready for bed.
High five....good night!!!!

He can say "Grandpa" now...he said it a few times before I ran and grabbed the camera to prove it to Larry ...fun! The second is outside and how he enjoys it...and the third is getting his chocolate milk out of the fridge.

Kristin's wedding...

It was a nice, sunny April day for a wedding. Chelsea's beautiful friend Kristin got married to her high school sweetheart!
Far left is her sister, Kelly, Jessica, bride Kristin, Chelsea, Deanna, Kari and Kristin's mother (R).
Getting ready...

Chelsea going down the aisle...

Cutting the cake... and amazingly, had the wedding pictures (digital) already loaded into a screen player for the reception...really neat!!

Larry, who self-admittedly hates weddings...had a really good time!!

It was a beautiful wedding!!! ...ohhh, and P.S. Chelsea caught the bouquet!!
