Fluff stuff....

My niece, Rachel is getting married in August. She and my sister Lynn came a couple of weeks ago and elected me bow maker for the ceremony. Her colors are periwinkle and silver. She knows I love to do it so I'm making pew bows. This is one that is complete... When I mentioned it at work, Kris, one of our techs whose daughter is getting married in two weeks asked if I would do them for her wedding, colors fuscia and black....these(below) are for her.
This is a space I created in the garage, a "cozy" corner to work and it makes me happy.
Yes, there is an old TV here, because...

it is also my "work-out" space. You may look at me and think I don't work-out, but I do a half hour 4-5 times a week. Umm-hmmm, it is crowded AND.....

it hold the cars too!!!! The pink bows are for Kris (left). Middle is Linda whose blog about undergoing cancer treatments is linked on the right " Team Linda, My Journey to Beat LMS". Picture is grainy because it is copied from one taken at work . Tuesday was her last work day and she is now in Texas receiving treatment...praying for you Linda!

Then today Bryden "flew in" to make a spring day even better!!!

Praying for nurse Linda

There are times in life where you are handed lemons...a flat tire, a broken dish, a tough day at work..... Then you reflect about what's really important and this is one of those eye-opening experiences. Today an e-mail arrived about Linda, an ICU nurse in our hospital who has recurring leiomyosarcoma. She has a brave battle and it is being documented in her blog "Team Linda - The Jouney to Beat LMS" on my side bar. It is also at this link if you want to click on it: http://www.teamlindabeatslms.blogspot.com/
She has maintained working and her last day to work is April 27th before beginning treatment at OSU in Columbus and MD Anderson Texas. Thursday everyone has been asked to wear purple in honor of the fight she is facing. Her story tugs at my heartstrings as I am sure it will yours. Please pray for Linda.

Emma & Bailey

Love when new pics of the grandchildren come in the mail!! These of Emma & Bailey came yesterday... Emma sleeping ...
Bailey playing outside...

Chasing bubbles...
When my kids were little I loved just watching the simplicity of them running or playing outside in the spring/summer. This pic of Bailey takes me right back....

Emma dressed up in her Easter basket with big sister watching over her, ...and then....

I wasn't there, so don't know what happened, but in my mind it was something like..."uh, oh...I woke her up and now what???"

"but I love her and will comfort her"...
"OOOh, good!"

Waking up a little more gently this time....what a sweetie!!!

Weekend visit...

Bryden was here yesterday with Chelsea. He is in this odd position because he was on my lap pulling his way to the edge of the chair (he has figured out how to roll over) and was listening to his mother talk. When he hears Chelsea, he cranes his neck all around until he sees her...amazing! Then, my sister Lynn came from Illinois to visit for a few days. It's always good to connect with her and she really enjoyed meeting Bryden. Note how well she multi-tasks...holding Bryden and petting Scoobie too!!

The weather was so nice that we went down to the marina for an evening picnic...

and we took the little guy along...he did well and enjoyed it!

Nothing sweeter than seeing my sister with baby Bryden, and a beautiful sunset!

We giggle like school girls, stay up late talking until we could both fall over and then finally go to bed. This morning we had breakfast on the deck and started chattering all over again! Tomorrow her daughter Rachel flies into Columbus to do some wedding planning...more girl time out. Wedding planning definitely agrees with Lynn!!

Mr. Energy...

This pic was of Bryden with Larry on Easter....I love that he wore a tie to church!! Cooper was here yesterday to have his picture taken. We are lucky enough in this little town to have a wonderful photographer, Stephanie McFrederick, who did the portraits. She had to work magic (which she did!) to capture this quick little guy in action. She has endless patience and a lot of creative ideas!!

He was into his superheros DVD before the shots were taken (above)... and when we got there...

Stephanie had this cute outfit for him to pose in...he loved it!!

Here, she is getting a shot of him in this little barn with so much character...

And here she was getting country shots....love her spring ideas for settings!!

He was always on the run, so imagine her hard work!! (I think he's ready to take off and fly!!!)

and finally....

He had a great time...it was fun to watch!! Thanks, Stephanie...we can hardly wait to see the results!! For a preview click on this link: http://www.mcfrederickphotography.com/blog/

All done...phew!!

Time for dinner!!!

Easter week...

We were lucky enough to see all the kids and grandkids this week. Tim and Cooper came Wednesday and we watched Cooper tell us about his new favorite friend...Spiderman!

He will tell you all about Spidey, Peter Parker, and Green Goblin...so funny!

But he's not all business, he's sweet too and handed out the kisses...first Paw-Paw

then baby Bryden...

I just like to hear the stories and look at those brown eyes and dimples!

Paw-Paw spent some Bryden time too...

ALL boy!!! (both of them)

Then Thursday was a girl day...Debby went with me to see Lori, Bailey and Emma.

Big stretch!!!

-with big sister Bailey...

-sugar and spice and everything nice!!!

Emma is so alert and starting to smile...

I love time to just hug...goes all too quickly!!

Thanks for a nice visit all...Happy Easter!!!
