Fabulous Fall Weekend

The weather this weekend was second to none for fall!  It was absolutely beautiful!  Chelsea called and said "Remember when I was little and hated your taking us to "Prarie Peddler"...I said "Yeeesss!"  She said "Well now that I am grown, I really want to go,will you go with me?"  Ha! I had to laugh! -but was secretly pleased...it came full circle! So we packed Bryden up and went for a couple of hours. We had a lovely afternoon at the festival and the went to Malabar Farm's Mt. Jeez to see the marvelous views.  I took Larry there for a ride today to get him out of the house for a bit.  It did him a world of good!  You take weekends like this and savor them.

You can even see all the way to Pleasant Hill Lake....
At home with Paw-Paw...getting better slowly!!
Getting to be such a big boy!

Honey these pictures you shared with us are absolutely beautiful. Chelsea and you could be twins and how beautiful you are. The pictures of Bryden(I love that name) are adorable.
It is funny how you feel when your daughter ask you to go someplace she did not like years earlier. haha
Glad you shared these wonderful photos and the background of the fall foilage is priceless.
Made me want to be there so bad.
Thanks Donna for leaving me such a great comment this morning.
I do have an appointment at 3pm about an hour and half from here in College Station home of the Aggies so I need to put the lap top away and get ready.
Enjoy your week and I will let everyone know of course what I find out
Love

Now those are frameable pictures, like in a collage frame! What a beautiful view - and family. You should get out a picture you took of her when you used to take her there, and put it next to this one of her with Brayden, to show that the tradition lives on.

I'm so sad I missed it this year..but there's always next year, right? I know how Jordan grumbled the one and only time we took him. I bet he would go if his girlfriend and her daughters wanted to go! Beautiful pics of Bryden and Chelsea and the views! The view reminds me of Jack's parent's farm up on the back hills. I miss that fall scene. Glad Larry is doing better too!

Bryden's eyes are about the same shade as the lovely pot behind him, such a beautiful child, Donna!

Sounds as though Larry is doing very well, even though it does take some time to heal completely.

Enjoy our Ohio autumn!

Hi, Donna! I saw a comment that you left at Pink & Green Prayer Journal & was so very touched; "lending your mother" to that young woman having a terrible time of it. It was beautiful thought & a lovely image - my own Mother is gone 14 yrs. - & I believe that I will remember your prayer always.

Your blog is terrific! I can only imagine the joy of having grandchildren! The pictures of your family are amazing. So nice to "meet" you. All the best from Long Island,
Colleen

You're making me homesick. Have seen that view from Mt. Jeez so many times. And Prairie Peddler - Oh...
Great pics of all.
