The Boys, Winter and their tired Nana!

Our weekend entertainment was a visit from the boys!  Tim and Cooper came from Columbus to sled and baby Bryden came after nap time to join the fun!
Our Country Club has marvelous hills that are great for just this.  We weren't sure how Coop would like it, but he is very adventurous so guessed he would.
I used to take the kids when they were little...so was really more worried about ME climbing back UP the hills again!  (Hey, and we did it about 20 times...OK...19!!!)!
Cooper got tired and Tim carried him too...ohhh to be young again!! I knew that if I carried him, that would be THE END.
Now we are putting Cooper on with me...
I scream and yell the whole way down and ...had so much fun!!!!
yes...he walked by himself, -no one to give CPR.
 Daddy/son time...
Bryden joined us after church and his nap...
 outside??? OK!
"Ewww.... What did I get myself into"!!!!

Small hills at our house..."I can do it myself!!"
 Chelsea giving Bryden a ride...

~ It was great way to spend a Sunday, hot chocolate all around...Nana needs a nap!!!!

I can not wait for my new grand daughter to be old enough for sleding. I love to go sleding my grandfather even in his 80's would say hey lets go sleding!
the kids look like they had a great time.
nana too.

That looks like so much fun. Well, except for the walking back UP the hill part. Very funky sleds!

What fun! You are always welcome to come sled here too...and yes that was a real leg! We still can't figure out how it got there because there was no blood, no tracks and no other parts! Strange..maybe it fell out of the sky! I love the sleds! Where did you find them? Sledding is fun and I really enjoy it too, and then the best part is that hot chocolate thing! It was good to see the sun today!

this is about your comment on my blog that is a black barn star not a window. I went back and looked and you are right it does look like a window in the picture.
thanks for your visit.

That looks like so much fun, and you get a gold star for not just sitting on the sidelines! I've gotten very frustrated this last year at not having the energy and stamina I used to have for this kind of stuff, though I at least try to be with them even if I'm only taking photos.

And you have way more snow than we do! We had maybe 10" last Monday, but today it finally warmed up enough over freezing to start melting it.

What a nice day this must have been and great photos . Nana is making great memories for her grandkids and that is priceless.

I love the fancy sleds. I never saw any like that before. I must be too old. What fun.

My daughter just had her baby boy at 1:44 am this morning and I'll see him tomorrow. I can't wait to hold him but he's too little for grandma to take him sliding yet. She had a short labor. JB

It DOES wear one out - in the best way! It's so good for kids (and all of us) to be out in the fresh air - moving, laughing, huffing and puffing a bit...

The last picture is toooo much!:-)

You've made me nostalgic for sledding - it was a huge part of my childhood and I haven't flown down a hill in forever. Plus hot cocoa doesn't ever taste as good as it does after a great day on the hill.

aww...what great memories! I can't imagine all that snow. Looks like a blast! You really generated some energy for that. You must have lost a few pounds!
