the Royal Wedding

I've always had a fascination from the time I was little, with everything British.  Fast forward 20 + years and Diana entered the royal scene.  It was so much fun to watch that wedding and a year later, William was born.  The following year I had Chelsea.  It always seemed a perfect idea that she could someday be his princess.  Since that didn't happen, it's been interesting to watch him grow into a wonderful prince and marry Katherine.  (Chelsea's middle name incidently...)
This morning, I watched along with the rest of the world, ~the wedding!  Here are a few of my favorite moments....

Will is reportedly saying something to the effect "this was to be  small, intimate, family affair!"

I love the trees!

I watched too. I wasn't planning on getting up extra early but the darn garbage truck woke me at 6:15am so I got to watch all the festivities until it was time for work. They are such a cute couple :)

She is absolutely gorgeous! And your pictures are wonderful!!

I haven't seen the kiss yet, so this was a little preview. (I'm still watching my DVR of the festivities.)

=)

PS. I like them together!

She is so lovely, isn't she? I didn't really get to watch - I was working so I just caught little bits here and there. I love her dress!

Are you sure you weren't there? The pics are pretty good..you could have atleast invited me to go with you. Just don't tell Obama..he wasn't invited. You should have gone to work today and joined us for our English celebration. But then, I guess you would have missed the reception!

I didn't watched the wedding except clips from the news. They are a nice couple and I hope that they will be happy together. I'm just not into royalty I guess. Have a great weekend. JB

I was too tired to watch the wedding in real time but I caught a few highlights on the evening news. It looked like an amazing event! LOVED the dress.

The future Queen of England is the perfect one for that position. God bless her! :-)

I feel the same way about all things British royalty. This wedding felt like the best possible combination of fairy tale and a reality we all dream about.
