St. Kitts vacation

We were lucky enough to go on a "glass trip" this week with W. A. Wilson Co. out of Wheeling WV. A group of 46, glass company owners and their wives and W.A. Wilson executives went to the island of St. Kitts for a confab and some R&R. The Marriott was our hotel and it had beautiful pools.
We renewed a friendship with John and Karen Dooley who own "Big D" Glass Co. in Medina. We miss them already!

Dinners out were mostly sea side with gorgeous views. They were on the same time zone that we are, but it got dark by 6:30, so we watched wonderful sunsets while we ate...

One night we even saw fishermen bringing in their unusual catch!

Then we would come back to the hotel (with a casino...) to a lighted courtyard.

We went on an island tour with Karen and John saw the rain forest, then a shop were they made batik...

We also went to a shopping area where we met new friends...

My favorite thing was getting up in the morning and walking on the beach followed by a "yoga" class! Invigorating! (followed by a huge buffet breakfast...) This was the view out our back door on the way to the beach...

We spent a lot of time sitting around the pool talking business...

and maybe just being tourists too!

On the last night we all went to Ottley Plantation on the side of a hill...gentle breezes, much ambiance and wonderful food!!

We toured the main house after dinner....

- and the best part was just laughing all week with great people! (Karen Dooley is one of the most upbeat women you could ever meet!!! Thanks for a fun time Karen!)

It was just a really terrific time!!!
