Update on Baby Caden
Baby Caden underwent more extensive testing today. The family is anxiously awaiting results from these. Mother Laurie had a chance to "kangaroo" her baby this weekend...hold him right next to her chest. They said that all his vital signs returned to normal while she held him. Grandma Linda said, "Ah the power of a mother's love!" Please go to her blog to see pictures and leave a message. I know they would covet your prayers....thankyou! ~Donna

There is nothing that is as powerful as a mothers love. I know I believe that.

I'm heading over to her blog to leave a comment.
Thanks Kerri!
Praying for baby Caden!
Yes, our prayers can help too. Thanks for this.
Nothing like the power of a mother's love...heart to heart holding has been shown to carry a baby through serious illness. Just saw something like this morning on the Today show about a little Haitian girl whose mother held her for six years until she could finally come to America for an operation for a hole in her heart.
What a beautiful thing. I hope she gets to kangaroo him more and more in the days ahead.
I'm sure it's the best medicine for both of them. Along with prayer, of course, and I will send some their way.
=)
A precious moment. My thoughts and prayers are with the family too.
I will continue to pray for the baby.
You have such beautiful grandchildren. Thanks for sharing.
Isn't being a grandmother so incredible.
Donna, you and I both understand the anguish of sick babies...but this is so scary and I hope all goes as God would have it. Prayers for them will continue. I still can see Laurie as a little girl playing at the Miller pool when our guys were little too.
Prayers for baby Caden and sending my love too. Love is so powerful and a mother's love is unconditional. JB
Prayers for baby Caden and sending my love too. Love is so powerful and a mother's love is unconditional. The baby is so cute, and I'm clad that mom could hold him so close. All the best. JB
Thank you Donna for the update...I was wondering how he was going :) Off to say hello now!
