Today was the Diaper Derby at the fair...Chelsea and Brant entered Bryden because he is a fast crawler!!
This is Brant with Bryden and Becca, his mom and Bryden's other grandmother " "Mimi".Chelsea coaching Bryden...
This is a new green bean cassarole that I made up. I took 2 Tbs butter and melted it with 3 cloves of garlic.
Then I added 1/4 cup of white wine and let it reduce for 10 minutes, and added a half cup of heavy cream...
I cleaned and cut the beans, salt & peppered them and poured the sauce over....and made a crunchy topping of panko, 2 Tbs melted butter, parmesan cheese and crunched french fried onions. I baked it in a 350* oven for 45 minutes, and it smelled so good!!! We loved it. If you try it, I hope you like it!!

That looks so good, I'm on my way for dinner! ;)
Yummy! That recipe sounds fantastic. Love all the ingredients. Will try it for sure.
Nice photo's. Thank you for sharing.
I have a question...do you add the beans in the pan with the garlic and wine and saute for a bit or do you pour the garlic butter wine over the beans before you bake it? :)
Sniff...yes, I think I can smell it! It looks easy and yummy. You are the best cook I know! Those pics are so cute and fast or slow crawler, that kiddo is no loser! He's a cutie!
Hope, I forgot to add a half cup of heavy cream to the sauce recipe, so I have edited it. The sauce is poured over the uncooked beans and then the topping is added before baking. Thanks for your comment!!
mmm...even more yummy. Can't go wrong with cream! thank you
