January Cabin Fever Outing...

We were all feeling like a winter outing would do us good...colds, sore throats and snow needed to be overcome! We met in Columbus with the idea to buy Cooper some big boy clothes...he's outgrowing everything, -not a baby anymore! He was shy for a minute (couldn't be the camera in his little face...
-hey, when we get home, all we have are the pictures so I cherish each one!) when we met in California Pizza Kitchen, but soon charmed us all! He is always smiling and giggling. ...very fun to be with.




He is also daggoned all boy and very entertaining!

We went to the middle of the mall where there was a play yard and let him run around...and that he did!!!
But when we went shopping he was so good!!

He flirts with Aunt Chelsea a lot...

and when we found out that "ELMO" is his new fascination, & found one in the book store, we had to get it for him.

It was a day that definitely cured our winter blues!!!

One more snowflake...

This is Scoobie giving me a dirty look for making him go out. He and Sam (in front of him) can no longer, after the last snow, use their usual path. If someone would just dig a path for them, they might be a little happier, but alas, the snow shovel is buried beyond the door in the barn...4 pictures down. This winter has produced more snow than any since we have lived in this house!

A couple of posts back, I put in this same picture of the deck...see how much more snow there is now!

No visitors to the front door, that's for sure!!!

Afternoon at the Science Center...

We decided that an afternoon of Bailey enterainment was just what we needed today....This is a muff that Chelsea had when she was Bailey's age. I dug it out and thought her little hands might keep warm using it...she doesn't seem to think putting her hands inside any animal is a great idea just yet...Mike and Lori are members of the Great Lakes Science Museum and you can tell that Bailey has been there before. It's a beautiful building with lots to do! The views below are looking out into the frozen Lake Erie outside. Right is the "Rock & Roll" Museum.

Bailey loves all the activites in the children's area...can she go and was she tired when we left!!! (so was Nana!!)

Winter blast!!

It's such a beautiful day, even though I really don't like Winter... It's such a pretty snow, looking out the window...I could go clean closets....but...I'd rather sit here in this cozy corner for now....

It's a LOT of snow!!!
