It Comes This Time Every Year....

Yes, One can set their clock by it....the Ashland County Fair!!!

Our family loves it.  Even though we didn't have much family here this year for it, but the ones that were, enjoyed it immensely!  Here is Bryden in the petting zoo.  We were careful to use hand sanitizer after each pet experience and before all food.   Paranoia or common sense?

Bryden was so excited to be the right height for the "baby rides".

Paw-paw had just as good a times as Bryden!!

The look says it all....

One of Larry's favorite things to do at the fair...see if he can win a toy for the kids.  he won many for our children when they were small,...but alas, none for poor Bryden.

Tame but wild and woolly for this little guy.

Waving good-bye

Last but not least...the goodies, -yum!!!

And when we got home, there was poor mama standing waiting patiently by the door.    She had oral surgery today and was hurting but couldn't wait to see her little guy!  I was anxious to see the outcome of her latest project...this painting.  I just love it!

My daughter-the artist.  Her birthday is this week.  She is my "Fair Baby'. lol!  Happy Birthday Chelsea!!!!

It was fun to see you guys! I'm going to post tonight too...Bryden did look like he was eager to get on that ride! I love Chelsea's painting...WOW! She did a wonderful job on that. She has your painting talent! Tell Larry I can see his weight loss! Good job!

That looks terrific. I think your side of the pond does 'county fairs' so much better than back in the UK. Over here we have no such thing at all!

Happy birthday to your daughter! Her painting is so fun and colorful and fall-ish! I love small fairs...I'm hoping we can at least get to one this season.
Looks like Bryden had a blast...he looks so cute with his face painted!

What a sport you are. It's so nice seeing you enjoy yourself at the fair riding in the bumper cars with your grand son. Bryden looks cool with his kitty whiskers, so cute. Paw Paw looks like he's having a great time too.

I haven't been to the Exhibition in our city. I used to go years ago and when I got busy, I stop going . Now I find it expensive and noisy and crowded. After a long day's work, all I want is peace and quiet. I'm getting old.

Your daughter looks so pretty just like you and talented too. I love her painting. I didn't know that you painted too. I would love seeing some of your paintings.
Have a great week.

Hugs, JB

Good to see you having fun. Little guy is having fun and is a cutie. Hope your daughter ecovers quickly. She is beautiful like you and so is her art work.

I think you were wise to use hand gel after petting the animals - but what a lovely day to spend together. Love Bryden's little painted face.

We were at the fair last night as well, and our little ones both tasted the goat kibble in the petting zoo. They were both a little confused about sharing it with the animals, but they did enjoy getting licked, so we used the hand sanitizer too. :)

A county fair sounds like so much fun--for both the big and little kids! Living in the city--we don't get to experience such fun. Glad you shared it with us!
