Monkey See, Monkey Do....

Since last summer Cooper and I have been talking about wanting to do a "Camp Night".  Yesterday he and Tim came for the evening so we decided to finally do it.  As soon as he comes in the door, he is talking about his super heros.  Bryden soaks it all in and thinks that's cool....
So when I saw a little inexpensive Batman, I got him one too.  He was thrilled.
The cousins could play together and Bryden knew just what to do with his guy!! Oh, the boy noises they can make together!!
Then we had pizza and S'mores over the fireplace. Boys and fire.  That's a little scary too!
Then it was "I-pad" time and Cooper was teaching Bryden some games here....
Then so did Tim. Amazing how fast they caught on to computerization...and I learned when I was 55!
More games....
then games matches, before it was time for Bryden to go home to bed.
Cooper and I camped out in front of the fireplace for a cozy night's sleep....until 2 am!  He pried open my eye and said "haven't you had enough sleep?"   So I guess I had.  Then it became like a PJ party...all talk!!
My back is sore...the floor was hard...I need a nap...but it sure was FUN!!!!

It looks like you had fun. Such cute pictures with you and the boys. They are adorable. Love that he pried your eyes open......enough sleep, hah.
My husband's name is Larry and I have a brother named Tim.
Did you escape the storms. YOu are in Northern Ohio, right. We just had run, rumble and lots of wind......thank heavens.

I just love reading about your camping adventure with Cooper. I can picture it now, him prying your red eye open to see if you had enough sleep, too funny.

I hope that you didn't had to work today. You are such a wonderful grandma.

Making great memories for the grandkids is what it's all about. I remember those days of blowing bubbles, singing silly songs that we made up on the spot and stories, swinging on the two seater wrapped up in blankets and having a great time.

I hope that you were spared the bad storms. Some places were hit hard. Have a great Sunday. Hugs. JB

What a special thing to do with your grandson! I sure wish my grandkids lived close enough to do things like that, but I'll try to remember to plan it when I go there.

Your grandchildren are so INSTANTLY recognisable. If they ever got lost in Blog-Land, we'd always know where to send them!

There's such a special love between cousins...especially when a younger one looks up to an older one....we experience that here in our house.
I bet Cooper loved your campout and will always remember that. The last time I slept on the livingroom floor with my son, I was sore for 2 days!

Boy noises! I love it!

And sleeping on the floor? I guess you're about 7 years younger than me. Do it while you can, Girl :)

It looks like you had great fun?? Anyway, you are one heck of a good grandma. I'm not sure I could ever take on that kind of camping, or any other, for that matter. I have just never enjoyed it, and only went camping once in my whole life. I loved the pictures of everyone, you included!

Loving those gorgeous photos of the grandsons. Sleeping by the fireplace is fun. It's been a while since we've lived in a cold climate and I adore fireplaces!
