This weekend Bryden stayed at our house overnight. We get such a kick out of the way he is learning to talk and the fun, really cute little personality he has.
While I was cleaning up from dinner, Larry offered to do his bath and get him ready for bed. I said "OK, great!" and continued my tasks. I could hear them having a ball and put Bryden to bed when it was all done. In the morning he called when he was awake and I took him into my bathroom while I was getting ready for the day. I looked at his left leg and said "what's wrong with your ankle??" He said "boo-boo?" I said "you hurt yourself?" He said "Des" (Yes) I felt it and thought a sock must have gotten into the leg of his PJ's during laundering. Then I thought.......and felt. No diaper! Ha! The whole thing was wrapped around his ankle....lol! I laughed so hard and then ran to get the camera.
Scoobie, on the other hand, runs and hides when Bryden comes. He's getting old and doesn't have that same high energy. His fur is getting thinner and he gets cold once in a while. (shivers) I found a couple of sweaters on sale and bought them even though I have always thought it silly when seeing dogs dressed up. Now I'm one of them...I think he's cute!

What joy grandsons are!
You know my husband still has a hard time figuring which side the front tapes go on. With the grands that are old enough he asks them, I love to listen in on his dialouges with the babies he's changing diapers for...
Hugs~
What a fun little house guest. And his booboo cracked me up!
=)
PS. I always think the dog sweaters are silly, too, but I am glad you got one for your aging pet. Being cold is no fun!!
Aw bless!
Bryden is at a very sweet and cute age!
That is so funny! I guess your hubby is out of practice. Bryden is so cute!!
Larry gets points for giving it a shot! Poor little Scoobie..I remember when we all walked without touble...You,Me,Sam, Scoob...boohoo...
You probably mixed-up the 'ankle diapers' with the 'bottom diapers'; an easy mistake. Keep them apart, then we men wouldn't get confused.
What a funny story. Such sweet pictures too.
Hugs.
Haha! Well, I still give Grandpa kudos...for being a great Grandpa and offering to help out.
I love seeing dressed dogs,
they look so much cuter.
Bryden looks real cute and adorable too ♥
Your little boo~boo guy is just a doll and the diaper story is a hoot and a half!!! Got me rollin' here.
You little doggie looks precious all dolled up.
Scoobie does look cute in his sweater....now if you start carrying him in your purse...then I will start to wonder!
Bryden is so so CUTE! I bet he enjoyed his sleepover at your house!
Donna, I guess that you'll just have to supervise Grandpa's next diaper change, won't you, ha,ha.
Scoobie is just so adorable like your little Bryden.
I used to put little boots on my little toy poodle to keep road salt off his feet. His hair was thick so He didn't need a sweater but I did. JB
Love the story about the diaper. You can really see it in the picture. Kudos to Grandpa for giving it his best shot though.
I think Scoobie looks absolutely adorable in his sweater. What a sweet face he has.
