the Week that was...

Last weekend was the start of our county fair.  We always hope to entice all the kids to come home so we can get the clan together but with all our busy schedules of late,...that's hard to do.  This year, I knew that it would be even more fun because they are all getting to an age where they would enjoy it.  I love to try to get all the grand kids to pose for pics and you have only a short window of opportunity before the high energy generation is on the go!
Saturday was a soccer game of Cooper's and we were excited to witness a game.  Speaking of energy...he is certainly that for his team!!
The week before he scored a goal and while he did not in this game, he came close enough for us to squeal a few times!
It was fun to watch him with his team...they seem to be friends as well as teammates!
Then Sunday, they all gathered for me patiently to take these shots....
 with families too...

 and some with just dads...
then with boots on in the creek...

till they could wait no more and onward to the fair!

Sweet Emma

and finally the novelty of no nap is wearing off...lol!

How fun. Great job on the goal. That's not as easy as a touchdown I'm learning.

What a great weekend. Those kids are getting cuter each time I see them.

Love the soccer game. Is there anything funnier? My brothers used to stop in the middle of the field and chat with their friends - blissfully unaware of the game going on around them. It's a wonder the coach had any hair.

Donna, I'm so glad that you are making time with your beautiful family, a priority in your busy schedule and it will pay off , way into their future.

Watching the grandkids playing their little hearts out and having fun is so gratifying and scoring a goal or even coming close to it is such a proud moment.

Thanks for sharing .. JB

The pictures of your family at the soccer game and the fair were to fun to see. Honestly, it looked so cute to see such young little ones actually playing soccer. I'm sure you all had a great time at the fair. What a great thing to do when you have so many of your family together at one time.

Donna honey to say that Cooper is such a cutie is an understatement. All of your children and grandchildren are just gorgeous.
Glad you got them to slow down long enough for pictures.
As always Donna I love visiting you and seeing what your doing.
I am so far behind in blogging and visiting with friend so forgive me.
