Cupcake....

Bailey went "Trick or Treating " tonight in Cleveland as a...CUPCAKE!!! Her mother thinks she looks good enough to eat!!

Aunt Jamie primped for her so she was ready to go...

The neighborhood was all ready for the evening complete with many decorations and scary music from the house across the street!

We walked with her and it was like a home tour seeing the many cute houses with so much character in the area.

The group handing out candy back on the ranch...Larry, Mike, and Bailey's other grandparents, Jim & Becky.

Bailey quickly caught onto the art of putting out her bag and looking for houses with lights on.

Daddy joined us for the second half of the block.

Getting darker and colder but having the time of her life!

BOO!!

In our little town, we always have Trick or Treat on the Thursday night before Halloween and tonight was that night. We carry chairs to the top of the hill and sit with our candy to see what spooks or goblins arrive. We were lucky today that the weather was mild and it was fun talking and waiting for the "treaters" to come. This is Brant with me and Scoobie the witch...

It was fun to see neighbor's kids and grandkids out....Emma, lookin' good!

The little angels were very good about sharing their loot....

and some were sporty or nerdy (Larry says "like their dad...")

-Certainly not like cute mom!!

Then it got dark and the real magic begins.....

Rainy day fun!

Today I didn't have to work, so Lori, Bailey and I decided to have a play date. We decided to go out even though it was raining.

Momma went to get the car...

and off we went on an adventure for the day...just... girl stuff.

Swim Lessons....

Bailey is becoming a good little swimmer because her parents take her for weekly lessons. Her mother is ever patient and gentle with her...

She takes her in the water and goes at a slow pace which makes Bailey happy and content.

-and finished with the lesson, out of the water...a happy child.

Now it's dad's turn to take her for a lesson...(the walk of terror)...

Pumpkin days...

Latest pics from Mike & Lori... I love blogging for one real reason...it's like a diary and I can watch the grandchildren get bigger. I can scroll back and look at pictures a year ago that shows their progress and it's amazing to me all over again to see how fast a child grows. Last fall they hardly had hair! Now they are little children, not even toddlers.

Got these pictures from Mike & Lori...they spent an afternoon apple picking with the Cleveland grandparents and an out of town aunt. Miss Bailey looks like a little pumpkin herself, doesn't she?? (Scrumptious hat, little girl...Mommy has fun taste!!) mmmm...the apples are sooo good!
