June weekend with Cooper

Tim and Cooper came this weekend...Mama Joni was in Zanesville having a garage sale with her mother and sister-in-law, so it was a guys weekend.Cooper came with lots of energy, so we decided to entertain him with ....what else...Larry's favorite thing to do, -fish!!After a little snack, we headed out...
Cooper really got into the whole boat thing....He really liked his life vest because it is like the one he wears at swim lessons and he thought he could jump in by himself and swim. Then the guys showed him how to fish which he enjoyed....Sorry,...many of these pictures look a lot alike, but it was just one of those moments that stays in your memory forever...a sweet afternoon.

Then we went home, ate dinner, went up to the Community Stadium for "Relay for Life" where Cooper ran us around the track a few times. We introduced Cooper to many friends who had never seen him and Tim caught up with classmates he hadn't seen for a long time. Then we brought him home, gave him a bath while Tim ran his exercise for the day and Grandpa read him a bedtime story.
Doesn't he look ready for bed??

Aunt Chelsea read a few more....he was still wound up!! (the blanket he has is one made by my mother before she died...touches my heart every time I see it...)Then Tim came back from his run and talked to Mommy before bed time...he's pretty cute talking to her!!
Good night's sleep for all and out again, late morning....

Note the guys matching "Starkey Glass " sweatshirts!! Cooper loved playing with Scoobie and led him around by his leash.

More fishing...it was just one of those really beautiful days!
