Bailey's 5th!!!

Bailey turned 5 this week and today was her party.  We were thrilled to be able to go and participate in the festivities!
The venue was a "house of  bounce" and it's the perfect place for kids who have tons of energy.

Sister Emma was on hand to wish the birthday girl the best.  Doesn't her hair fit "house of bounce"??

Clever mother Lori made this candy bar for kids to fill up buckets and take home.
I really wanted to be a kid....

11 little girlfriends came so it was a real girl's day.

Lori also made these cupcakes...

I thought they were amazing! (good too!)

Paw-paw enjoyed flirting with Emma

while Bailey opened treasures.

Just LOVE this child's H.A.I.R!!!

Grandpa Jim and Aunt Jamie playing with girls

Bailey blowing out her candles...Happy Birthday 5 year old!!  I know what I'd wish for...

The fam waving good-bye!!

P.S.  For those of you asking...chemo is over for me and I am into my second week of radiation.  It is all going well, ~thank you.

The candy bar is such a great idea! I'm going to pass it on. The WHOLE party looked like great fun...

Glad to hear the chemo is over & you're moving into the next phase. May our gracious Heavenly Father and the One who is the ultimate Healer make the treatment super-effective and protect you from all harm.

So nice reading your post about Baily's party. Emma sure has grown lately. I love those curls too. What cute little girls.

I bet there was a lot of bouncing that continued once the girls went home from the bouncing party. after the girls had some candy. Love the candy bar.

I wish that we had those kind of birthday parties when I was a little girl. What fun.

I'm so glad that your chemo treatments are done with . The worst is over with. I know that you still have radiation but it's not as bad as the chemo.

Have a great weekend.

Hugs,

JB

Your family certainly knows how to celebrate in style. I wish I had parties like that when I was 4 (or 45 Lol)
Glad to hear your finished chemo. And it's always nice to see a new post from you.

Happy Birthday Bailey. She is so pretty. I love Emma's hair. We have a grandson with that kind of hair. So fun.....just fits their personality.
I have been wondering how you are doing. I'm glad the chemo is over. Take good care of yourself.
I have been to "bouncy" parties. It always amazes me how no one gets hurt.

There are few things as fun as a grandchild's birthday party! Love the candy bar idea, and Emma's hair. Glad your chemo is over and that you're on to the next stage of this wild ride you're on ... as always, wishing you well!

What a cute party, and I'm so glad you were able to go to it! I feel so bad every time one of our little ones has a birthday and I'm clear across the country. Yours are just beautiful!
Glad your chemo is over. I am about to go with my dad for his 3rd session this week. He's tolerating it well, thank goodness, and I think of you every time. So many brave men and women there, making the best of it!

Ohhh Donna-- I wish I was a kid too-- this just looks like so much fun! Your grandbabies are precious-- both little girls are cute as buttons!! Oh to be having a birthday part like that! ( we took our little 2 year old grand daughter to a bounce house a few weeks ago-- and it wore me out!!!)

Your life IS a blessing Donna--

What a great party that was! There were so many terrific ideas. Too bad I don't have any little ones to give birthday parties to any more. I could have used some of those ideas when my kids were growing up.

Your grandchildren are adorable and I do love Emma's hair. I'll bet Bailey loves her little sister.

I loved the picture of Larry too!

I am so happy things are going well for you Donna. So darned sorry we had to cut our trip short. I wanted to see you and Kathy so much. I'm not sure I'll be able to travel that far again, but if I feel better next year, you can be sure we will fly. No more long road trips for me!
