Thankful for our Little Friend...

Since our beloved Yorkie Sam died a couple of months ago, Scoob is learning to adjust to being an only child.  You can tell he really misses Sam.  I am not ready for another, and don't want a puppy.  Scoob is 10 years old, a dull dog and has old habits that we love.   Here is one of my favorites....I was sitting at the computer and got up to get a drink...walked back to sit down again and there he is...silently sleeping under my chair.  It's so sweet that I had to go grab the camera.   It's nice to just know he's there and follows around .  He doesn't climb stairs well anymore, so if I take him down to the basement, and go back up forgetting him, soon he is at the bottom of the stairs barking to come up. Heck, there are days I don't really feel like doing stairs either! I think we are both getting lazier!! I used to watch Bonanza with my parents many years ago and there was a hound dog that never moved at all.  If he raised an eyebrow they would comment,"Hector hasn't been so excited since he was a pup!"  And so it is with Scoob...
 Uh-Ohhh, I think he moved!

nice to see your corner of the world! Nice to have a companion always there...have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

We need to stay informed and fight for our country. They are doing so many things behind the scenes. Our forefathers would be astonished at our debt and how we have strayed from the Constitution.

Oh little Scoob..I remember when you first got him, all the walks when he was just so peppy..like Sam...like us when we first started walking together! He's a good dog and he's lucky to have such loving owners!

So sad he's lost his playmate!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Sam. They are such a huge part of the family, aren't they? Our cocker spaniel loves to follow me around just like your Scoob. Except she likes to try and get my attention when I'm at the computer, or crafting! She can be very vocal! Have a great night:)

Such a cutie! That's exactly the type of dog I would love. One that doesn't move. Ha ha.

We are looking at getting a dog, but need one that doesn't easily get over-excited. We have enough of that with children.
