BD weekend...

Birthday weekend...

My sister Lynn came to visit this weekend, and we had a really nice time!

The kids were here too and there is nothing I love more than a handful of grandchildren...here is Cooper wanting to steal Bailey's binky and I am trying to rescue it back for her...Cooper still really wants binky...granny trying to divert.....

Chelsea's new home...

It was "Girl's Day" today...Chelsea and I toured her new town of New Albany. It is a really charming place! She has been substitiute teaching at the Middle school there and really loves it.

We had lunch in a little tavern downtown called the Rusty Bucket. We love "girl's day out"!!

The boys got a bath and the only time they want to be on the bed is afterward. It's like a reward for the punishment of getting wet...who knew that they match the bedding???

July 4th celebration at Charles Mill Marina

Last night we went to the marina for fireworks on the water. It was neat watching the sunset over the lake with friends Kip and Debby. There were many boats on the lake...we guessed 200?? and many people, concessions and a band on the beach. The fireworks illuminated on the water which made it that much more beautiful to watch. Then we had a procession of boats, one by one back to the Marina. Very FUN!!!

This morning we went back because Larry wanted to fish. I like to read or "drive". He was thrilled by his catch.

The lake sure is pretty in the Summer!!

Cooper loved the tissue paper from his dad's birthday presents and was very inventive....Tim tucked tissue into his shirt collar and he became "Superman"....I think he looked like an angel. He's happy to fly anyway!

We took a 4th of July early morning jaunt on the "Starkist ll" with the family. Lost one toy overboard and the weather wasn't great but we had a nice time anyway. Lori with Bailey, Mike holding Cooper... Bailey is at the Balloonfest really enjoying her first "gyro"! Cooper has just as much fun playing with the tissue paper from the birthday presents.
