Father's Day Weekend

Larry thinks that he "gets robbed" on Father's Day Weekend every year because his birthday falls then and it is all combined. lol! But we always strive to make it two celebrations nontheless and make him feel loved. This weekend was no exception and it was a nice one.....except that it started with a little shopping trip where my wallet was stolen(speaking of "getting robbed"...). A "nice" young couple was asking my opinion about shirts for their father, while I commented, one took my wallet which I was standing right next to! They used credit cards twice before I even got out of the store. Advice: Make sure you write down cards that are in your wallet and phone numbers on them...it's hard to remember just what is there otherwise! I wracked my brain and was stressed anyway until I could place all of the cards. I'm still not positive that I have called to cancel all of them.

Yesterday Mike & Lori invited us up for a cookout...Mike grilled out wonderful steaks for Father's Day while we doted on the girls. Emma is getting social and giggles and grins when you talk to her...so much fun!!! We played with her while Bailey worked on stickers...

Then came delicious cupcakes and we sang to Larry for his Birthday!

Then we hooked up the hose to Bailey's slide to make it a waterslide! She loved it and figured out many ways to go down that slide with all her toys.

Today, Father's Day, we met Chelsea, Brant and Bryden for a picnic and fishing. It was a beautiful day, peaceful and ......

successful!!!! Larry caught a fish within 5 minutes after docking! Yeah! He was a happy man!!
